To put a note under their hotel room door?

A wimps way out of course but next door to me have their tv up so loud I can't hear myself think! She's banging and crashing around I know she's a she as she was on the phone earlier talking about strategies. Would it be rude to pop a polite note under the door asking for it to be turned down a little? Then run away

I’d ask to be moved now to be honest. You just know she’s going to come back late and bang and crash around.

I stayed in a Holiday Inn the night before running a marathon and it appeared I had been given a room next to a man recently reunited with his loving partner after a lengthy absence, such was the extravagance of their sexual exploits. Every detail was audible, from the slapping of his hips against her arse (we know this because we heard her breathlessly exhort him “take me from behiiiiiiiind!”) to the cracking open of the celebratory post-climax cans of beer. It was.........loud Shock

Ask to be moved to another room.

Hotel is full, I don't think she'll be having any gentleman callers..then again!

I once stayed in a room with (locked) interconnecting doors. The morning after an engagement party one of the women next door was drying her hair and shouting over the noise to her mate. Mate also talking but quietly.

Unfortunately I had a migraine or I’d have called reception and told them to shut up but I couldn’t figure out the phone or remember our door number! OH slept through it coz he drunk himself silly the night before! Grin

Call reception and tell them - if they've spoken to her and she's still not keeping it down unless you tell them they don't know it's still a problem. It's a tricky situation to deal with because unless you stand outside the room all night the break would be welcomed Grin you don't know unless someone tells you, I check a couple of times but usually a walk by quickly. Be aware though that she's likely to disturb you when reception speak to her by arguing with them about it.
personal experience Wink
Unfortunately at the time of booking people don't tend to tick the 'I'm an arsehole box' so unless there's a complaint you don't know.
