To think that all home printers are a rip off!!!

I've had a few home printers of different makes. My current one is an all singing all dancing with SD card slot BUT ( and this is the rub). if I don't need to print anything for a while, when I do need something it doesn't print or does a crappy copy with the black ink missing!!! Has anyone got a good printer????? Desperate!

I bought a pantum mono laser printer from amazon and its far better than all the ink jet printers iv had to get rid of after they stoop working

I agree about the HP monopoly.

However, have new cheap HP wireless printer and instant ink subscription and happy so far. Not a massive risk as no big initial outlay.

Thanks to all. I'm now the owner of a Brother mono. After a faff of a set up where the usual vague instructions were given it managed to magic into operation. Let's see how this goes. More than I expected to spend aswell. ☹️
