Just after recommendation/ review - have used photobox before but great offers on printerpix or colorland from groupon - any good?? Thanks!

I have used lalalab before - not sure how they compare on price but it was really quick and easy to create the photo book via the app, and they had a code for the first time you use them IIRC.

Pumpkintopf · 14/08/2018 13:30

Thanks mostimproved, will have a look!

Slightly more complex to complete the templates but Blurb - quality is amazing

Pumpkintopf · 14/08/2018 14:17

Thanks sinkgirl haven't come across them - will take a look!

Watching this with interest.

Can anyone recommend one that is easy to use and also allows for lots of text to be included?

Whalebird · 14/08/2018 14:23

I found photobox really poor quality, so am watching for other recommendations

Pumpkintopf · 14/08/2018 15:31

Whalebird that's really interesting- I've always found them really good quality but expensive hence the question!

Pink not sure on one that will give lots of space for text - did see a photo journal on photobox, that seemed to have space for text and was pretty reasonable at £8.95- only 40 Pgs though I think.

Blurb you can add whole pages of text if you like, you choose a template for each page, add text boxes or whole pages as necessary. The hard back books are like coffee table books, really lovely, and you can have up to hundreds of pages.

cardibach · 14/08/2018 16:25

I use Photobooks, the book arm of FreePrints. Good quality hard back, good quality paper, pictures clear...not sure how the quality compares with others as I don’t use anyone else, but they are cheap and definitely good enough for my purposes (family holiday collections, mostly).

Alwayscommuting · 14/08/2018 17:02

All my photo books are photobox I have loads and I like the quality. You can lay them out yourself or go with an automatic setting and there's nearly always a discount code around somewhere.

shumway · 14/08/2018 17:03

I've used Snapfish before. And Tesco.

HoneyWheeler · 14/08/2018 17:57

I used Blurb for my wedding photos and I can't fault them. If you sign up to their newsletter they often have 40% off too

Pumpkintopf · 14/08/2018 22:45

Thanks all, will have a look at all those suggestions. Thanks

Ah well given that other posters like photobox the quality problems might be at our end!
