Husband making plans for me on my days off work

My husband has just signed my ds up for a summer camp this week without so much as a discussion with me about it although he mentioned it to me last night I said no as ds would miss the first day (today) as he is in his grandparents, I've maternity appointments. He has already done two camps this summer to which I committed myself to be around for to pick him up and drop him down and make sure he had the correct equipment. I have two other days off work this week and had plans on those days with dc and a friend of mine who also has dc but now I'm going to have to drop ds there for 9 and make sure I'm back for 12 to pick him up. I've to rearrange my plans to accommodate this. He is now in a huff with me because I told him I will not change my plans.

@Singlenotsingle you totally right there.

I have a friend like that. As she moved up the ladder at work she got more and more bossy and controlling with people outside work. She falls out with people all the time cos we all hate it!

HA ha. I don't think he'll mistake you for his PA again...

Trinity66 · 13/08/2018 14:44

That's an odd thing to do without even asking the people who would have to bring and collect him. I would be telling him very clearly that he doesn't make plans that involve you without asking you first

He's being very rude. Cancel the club and carry on with your plans.
I'm a childminder and I would not be happy with a parent just assuming I would be dropping and collecting one child from a club without any prior discussion. I would most likely say no.

Tell him to stop sulking and start communicating like an adult.

Willow2017 · 13/08/2018 14:55

Tell him to stick to making his own plans and leave you and kids plans alone. Bloody cheek. Who does he think he is telling you what to do after you have made plans already? (And as an ex cm i would be telling him where to go too. He cant expect her to change her plans for the week either just on his say so.)

Have fun with your kids and let him sulk. Big baby time he grew up.
