Help! DD taking nappy off in cot!

Sorry I'm posting for traffic as we've run out of ideas!

DD has just turned 2 and has started striping off and weeing in her cot. We've tried putting knickers over nappies and pull ups to try and make.it more difficult to get off but she's like Hudini!
I've been told to tape over the tabs but she doesn't open the tabs. She just pulls the nappy down like a pair of knickers.

Please help. It's becoming less funny! Not that we show that it's funny to DD!

These will work, OP

I know that sounds like a bold claim but they're fantastic - I also have a child who was putting their arms out the neck of vests to escape. These sleepsuits are made for exactly that problem - the neck is reinforced but very comfortable.

We went from desperate for months to problem completely sorted overnight.

They come from the US but There was a 5 day delivery option we paid for which worked very well - sleep is precious!

Hi OP, I had similar trouble recently, well not me, but my DT's and they would not keep a nappy on for me!
Only due to not being organised I ended up buying pampers pull up pants as opposed to Aldi nappies and they've done the trick! More expensive, but probably not when I think about how many aldi nappies we were going through a day! Can see why to be honest as I often pick them up now and think, omg, you've not got a nappy on and they have, it's just that the pampers are so much thinner than the aldi ones so must feel nicer!
Good luck, you have my sympathy!!!

Sleepsuit on backwards worked for us. We used one with a zip and after a few months went back to normal jammies and she must've forgotten as hasn't done it since.

Get pull ups instead. My dad did this but he couldn't get pull ups off as easily!

@PlasWedding you can get 0.5 tog sleeping bags for hot weather. My LO is in that and a babygrow at night now since it got cooler and dropped to 21degrees in her room instead of 27degrees when it was really hot!
