Green hair

I work in a school and am on holiday till September. Aibu to dip due my long blonde hair green at the bottom? It looks great and ought to wash out by September

Dd did that and green stains. It was a wash out one nd month later I was slapping red dye over it regularly for a show she was doing to turn it brown again.

So mermaid! You are being ambitous thinking it'll wash out though, I'm into 2nd year of fading green

I used a spray green dye on my hair and had to fully re-dye it brown (from blonde/green) 3 months later

Not so happy about those saying it does not, in fact, wash out, as I dyed my DDs hair green almost two weeks ago and the colour still looks the same.

I wouldn't dye it unless a) you are prepared to cut it out or b) you don't mind putting a dark dye over the top.
My friend did this to her hair last year and she had to dye it black before she went back to work because 6 weeks of washing it every other day faded it only and instead of dip dyeing it like she was going to she stuck the whole lot on her head!

I can plait it and put it up for school if it doesn't fade but I really don't want to dye over it

If it doesn’t come out try going swimming in a chlorinated pool. Last summer I dip dyed DDs hair in blue, purple and pink. Three days of swimming in a pool and it had completely disappeared. This year she’s red, pink and purple and has only swum in the sea and fresh water, it’s fading but still clearly there after three weeks.

I wish I could keep it lol.

Name changed for this but my hair is currently blue, green, purple and a bit pink!
