To be pissed off that they delivered my sofas two hours early!

Email confirm stated a 6-9pm delivery slot.
At 4pm I was in the supermarket with infant DS when the driver called to say they were at my house.
I had to abandon my trolly (empty thankfully), load DS into the car and rush back.
I hadn't been able to move the old sofa as DH and I had planned to do that when he got home from work- so we now have three sofas placed haphazardly in the living room.
AIBU to be annoyed?

Yes, that must have been rather inconvenient - but better early than late or not at all

I’d be annoyed too, but at least you’ve got your sofas, so focus on that. When we had a suite delivered we were promised a phone call before delivery too; I was standing in the kitchen and could see the lorry parked by my front garden gate, so technically a phone call before delivery, but not quite what I was expecting.

YANBU to be annoyed, but as you weren't home you could have said you'd see them at 6pm as agreed.
I really hate when people come early though!

I had this happen once when my DC were very little. We were supposed to be having a carpet delivered and fitted between 1 and 2. I'd been out to an activity with DC in the morning and got home just before 1 to find a disgruntled looking carpet fitter sitting in his lorry, saying "I was just about to give up on you." I asked him to check what his instructions said and they did indeed say to come between 1 and 2. This was before the days when everybody had a mobile so I had no idea he was early till I got home.
