To keep pets in two rooms in the house?

With access to the outside?

I've got two cats. They malt like crazy. I'm not great at making time to groom but doesn't actually make much difference. They've got bad habits like jumping on dining table.

We're about to move and I'm equal parts annoyed and scared at the amount of hoovering I'll have to do to keep the cat hair at bay in a much bigger house.

WIBU to keep cats in two adjoining rooms with access to the garden? Rooms are appx 2m x 4m each. It would mean they couldn't roam around the house spreading cat hair, eating food that's left out, muddy foot prints on the counter tops etc

🤞🏻

I misread ‘shall I wax them’? No don’t wax them! Grin

I keep my three cats downstairs, and only have two rooms and a utility room (they have a cat flap). It started when my old cat was demented and would wee everywhere, but I then found I was having much less asthma, so I've continued it. Something I was really grateful of when they had fleas!

If you work, then I imagine you don't have time to remove cat fluff from every piece of furniture in the house. (I don't so I'm on a constant look-out for fluff, and 2 indoor cats are equally obliging in providing copious amounts).
Yes, sounds like a good idea, just don't forget to visit those rooms and have some "quality time" with them. They need attention and human contact.

As long as they are rooms that you’ll be using so can spend time with them (like kitchen and sitting room) should be fine.

But where is the photo? Grin

I'm trying to add pics of them in the app but it's not working!
