Went to see Mission Impossible 156 last night and came away looking at Mr Scientology in a new light.

He was THE biggest movie star in the world for a long time but I've never thought of him as sexy. Maybe it's my advancing age (37).

Off to YouTube him.

MissusGeneHunt I totally agree. Bryan Brown was the one for me in Cocktail, even when I first saw it at 14!

OP, get on YouTube and watch some on Toms Scientology interviews, that’ll cure you.

bullyingadvice2017 · 04/08/2018 10:23

Good on Katie Holmes for getting away from that freak. Nasty piece of work

ReginaBlitzkreig · 04/08/2018 10:24

Tell us more, FASH84!

Buswankeress · 04/08/2018 10:25

Sign me up for the therapy, my crush is embarrassingly long standing from the days of Top Gun (still my favourite film ever) this has led to various other crushes by association. Watching ER reruns because it has Anthony Edwards (Goose in Top Gun) totally by passed the esteemed Mr Clooney in favour of Noah Wyle...... Dear God I'm beyond help.

PositiveVibez · 04/08/2018 10:25

I have never watched a film with him in. He has always given me the creeps, even when I was younger.

Nakedavenger74 · 04/08/2018 10:26

He's a tiny, god bothering freak.
HTH.

MissionItsPossible · 04/08/2018 10:28

Apparently he’s one of Cher’s top five lovers in bed according to her in an interview

I’ve never seen Mission Impossible no matter what my username is.

TSSDNCOP · 04/08/2018 10:30

I like him. I know all the barking stuff he’s allegedly done. But he comes over well in interviews, where the co-stars usually tease him and spends hours on the red carpet doing fab photos. Plus he makes a good movie, which ultimately is all I need from a movie star.

You could watch the oprah sofa jumping OP, that’s a known cure-all.

Cheesymonster · 04/08/2018 10:32

Shameless place marking for some gossip from FASH84

hendricksy · 04/08/2018 10:34

I know he is weird etc but I fancy him, it's a standing joke in our house about my crush on him. I of course deny it but I just think he is lovely 🙈🙈

ForalltheSaints · 04/08/2018 10:36

You are not 23 years old. He will not be interested. He's one of those men who dump their wives for someone younger every decade or so.

YaLoVeras · 04/08/2018 10:38

Either you need to be audited or you are Tom Cruise

Or his agent?

DontDrinkDontSmoke · 04/08/2018 10:39

@FASH84 ... that kind of falls into my theory ... no one in the business will say a bad word about him. The rest of the population think he’s a controlling weirdo. Why is this?

FASH84 · 04/08/2018 10:43

Nothing super exciting, he's just rude, demanding, arrogant , bossing around crew even senior people and so on, makes a fuss over little things the brand of a drink , meals provided by catering etc. DH said it was definitely little man syndrome, then he is all toothy smiles for the press.

LanguidLobster · 04/08/2018 10:44

Oooh I'd like to be audited. They could snuffle out all my behind utility bills and dubious character qualities and attempt to, they'd get short thrift vet(o) my friends. And inform me of a wonky tooth at the back which I never knew was wobbling. And delusions and defects I never knew I had until they brought me to the light.

It's so masterful. All to the cause, innit.

YaLoVeras · 04/08/2018 10:46

and they can fix your faults, ........for every cent you have!

Iggi999 · 04/08/2018 10:53

See if I’d been working all day and someone brought me a Diet Coke instead of a Diet Pepsi I’d be seriously pissed off (but in a polite British way). It’s not like he can pop to the Spar for his own.

He’s certainly not a god botherer though

PintOfMineralWater · 04/08/2018 11:07

Did anyone read that thing about how TC had everyone round to his to play hide and seek, and he was shouting about cookie dough and everyone was too scared to tell him it was right in front of him? It was all so bonkers. He’s institutionalised by Hollywood and his weird made up religion.

LucilleBluth · 04/08/2018 12:12

He's a brilliant actor and it's a shame that Scientology has tarnished his reputation, but would hold it against him if he was a Muslim/Christian etc.

Saying that he did turn mental in the early 2000ths.

2000nds even.

LanguidLobster · 04/08/2018 12:29

Naughties :)

PeckhamPauline · 04/08/2018 12:34

his weird made up religion?

Which religion isn't made up, then?

Strangely I never fancied Tom Cruise until I saw Rain Man.

TheConstantMoaner · 04/08/2018 12:40

I’ve always loved TC as an actor. In rl obviously needs all kinds of help. But that’s most of the Hollywood scene anyway. He’s good at what he does and nearly lost it at one point when mixed his personal life with work. I’m sure he got some clever people to tell him to take a chill pill or you’re gonna loose it all.
All actors are odd imo.

vampirethriller · 04/08/2018 12:45

I fancied him in Legend when I was a lot younger. He is bloody peculiar though.

Celebelly · 04/08/2018 12:47

This ought to do it
