Anyone else find Tommy Robinson annoying

EDL and Britain First are extreme groups there is no doubt about it.

If they actually did not generalize Muslim's then they would have a case.

  1. "we need to do protect women against rape" Nice idea but to do that you need to protect all women not just ethnic guys raping women but when white men do it as well they are silent.

  2. "Muslim's don't follow the law of the land" neither do you Tommy. Mortgage fraud and other rules he broke. Not to mention he nearly ruined a court case

If you've ever been to any of their March it is not "standing against Muslim extremists" but their rhoeteric is against "Muslim's as a whole"

This video is interesting shows a guy pretending to be EDL supporter and going to their events. The things they say is awful

Yaxley-Lennon (not the fake name he uses to appeal to the workinh class) is a bit more than annoying...he thinks he is above the law and preaches dangerous, racist rhetoric. Shame they let him out..

conspiracycunt · 04/08/2018 00:07

He's a cunt and clever man who manipulates not as clever people - like most cult leaders

PatsyClinSilVousPlait · 27/05/2019 00:12

Absolutely humiliated in the EU Elections, the horrible little racist.

RubberTreePlant · 27/05/2019 00:54

Also, his actual name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon.

Why does someone always bring that up? Does it matter?

The xenophobic, islamaphobic, rabble-rousing is the objectionable thing, surely?

SoleBizzz · 27/05/2019 00:57

He had over 38,000 votes in Manchester and when the results were declared the crowd laughed.

KurriKawari · 27/05/2019 01:07

He lost but 38k is still a big number.

KurriKawari · 27/05/2019 01:09

Why does someone always bring that up? Does it matter?
Yes. It shows that even at a basic level he is a fake, pretending to be something he isn't to appeal to a certain demographic.

GimmieTheCoffeeAndNooneDies · 27/05/2019 01:09

2.2% of the vote. It looks like 'Tommy' isn't feeling the love!

RubberTreePlant · 27/05/2019 01:18

es. It shows that even at a basic level he is a fake, pretending to be something he isn't to appeal to a certain demographic.

Changing your name doesn't make you 'fake'. Damon Albarn was faker than TR.

TR is genuinely far-right and obnoxious.

WhiteRedRose · 27/05/2019 01:21

38,000 in one city is a terrifying number. 2.2% of the vote is also a terrifying number. Can you pack it in with the ignorance around vote percentages and being all faux smug from your armchairs. The number he got was high - and it is fucking dangerous. He should've got a few K votes and faded in to the night. He hasn't, so I'd stop being smug and realise they have made an impact somewhere, when they shouldn't have made one anywhere.

SoleBizzz · 27/05/2019 01:25

38,000 scumbags... Terrifying. I see racism everyday.

EmmaGrundyForPM · 27/05/2019 01:26

No I don't find him annoying. Running out of milk is annoying. Getting stuck in a traffic jam is annoying. Listening to the ravings of a racist misogynistic thug is piss boiling.

Hth

chipsandgin · 27/05/2019 01:35

Annoying? I find it annoying when it rains unexpectedly when I’ve put the washing out. I think the fact that some racist, terrifyingly awful, abhorrent thundercunt has even one person agree with his horrendous views should make us all worry about the future of humanity. So ‘annoying’ doesn’t really cover it.

araiwa · 27/05/2019 01:50

Racism is inappropriate

GimmieTheCoffeeAndNooneDies · 27/05/2019 01:53

The far right candidates took under 3% of the votes.

In 2009 the BN received 8% of the vote in NE England and That was far more frightening.

longwayoff · 27/05/2019 06:48

Not elected, thank heavens. I have a huge selection of descriptors to apply to Yaxley-Lennon and annoying doesn't really feature. I won't share them here as the thread would be deleted. He is resolutely and intentionally vile. Even Farage won't be associated with him.

ShitAtScarbble · 27/05/2019 06:58

Yes - he's annoying in the same way that, say, getting a nasty dose of the plague is annoying. Suffering a messy and bloody death in an industrial blender accident - that would be annoying. Being vaporised in a blast of fire from an alien death ray gun - annoying.

Do you see OP? "Annoying" is a frankly idiotic choice of word for what Tommy Robinson is. Perhaps you should rethink this?

ShitAtScarbble · 27/05/2019 07:00

Also - zombie thread ffs!

Why resurrect this when it's so easy to start a new and current thread?

nrpmum · 27/05/2019 07:01

Like my ex husband, he is vile.

ArgyMargy · 27/05/2019 08:03

@ShitAtScarbble yes zombie thread but at times like this we need to reminded that 1) there are evil men like him sowing hatred and 2) thank God he has not been successful in gaining a seat. I find it scary that he exists but reassuring that he is rejected and reviled.
