If you were a man but have decided you are now a woman you can be a Mason. If you have always been a woman you still cannot be a Mason. www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/08/01/freemasons-allow-women-members-first-time-joined-men/

"I have two UG degrees, a masters and a professional diploma and I believe trans women are women. Just let me know how much more education I need to complete to attain a basic level, please smile"

I'll get my 6 y/o to explain for you when I get home, should be easy for you to get your head around if you managed all that :)

If you are a Trans woman, you can become a Mason Grin

So they haven't changed their stance, and managed to subtly infer that trans women are still men in their society's eyes, too.
Can't see a problem I agree

@Bizzylizzyloo Do you hold that opinion from working in a sector where there are many gender non-conforming people or is it a belief based on gender being more important than biology? Or something else ?

None of them in biology one assumes.

Can you tell us how I, with female sex characteristics who is genetically and biologically a female, and a person with male sex characteristics , who is genetically and biologically a male, are both women?

I don't think some people have noticed that the article says:

  1. men who become/identifiy as women are not allowed to join the Masons. Men who are already Masons are allowed to remain Masons If they subsequently transition.

  2. women who identify are men are allowed to become Masons.

The first reminds me of the position agreed for married CofE vicars who converted to Catholicism after the decision to allow ordination of women and I don't think it's particularly illogical.

The masons are losers. Women should never want to join this sad and dying breed.
