There is a whole tin of tomato soup on my sofa

HELP please mumsnet I sat down with tomato soup, sneezed and knocked the bowl all over myself and more importantly my sofa!!
It's a giant bright orange splob in the middle of the sofa between two cushions. I have scrubbed it with some soap powdery water but it's still orange just slightly less so than before 🙁
Does anyone have any amazing ideas to get it out please? I can't even turn the cushions over coz it's a funny shape and all the cushions are shaped.

Your thread inspired me to make some soup, so I made some AND IVE JUST DONE THE EXACT SAME THING. 😖 baby wipes seem to have removed the majority of it though.

Why would you try to have soup on a sofa? Surely you need to sit at a table?

How easy would it be to get the sofa outside in the sunshine at some point over the week? Sun is easily the best thing to shift tomato stains.

(And eat it in the bath next time)

wash in biological and bung on the line in the sunshine. All will be well.
If they aren't technically washable they may shrink so get them in from the line slightly damp and put back on cushions to dry: you can prop the cushions in the window to get the sun.

Are you sure you can't turn the cushions any other way? I had a sofa where I can't turn the cushions over unless I switch them to the other end of the sofa.

How are you getting on Rolly ?

I also often have lunch sitting on the sofa, and I could easily do what you did!
