To ask how long it took you to learn to drive?

I need to learn to drive. I think its my only option as getting out is too difficult without driving. How long did it take you to learn to drive?

Four lessons and passed first time, but then I grew up on a farm and been driving everything from the moment my legs were long enough

To drive, about a year. To pass my test, 3 years!

20 hours in 2002
10 hours in 2005
5 years of riding a moped
16 hours in 2014 - passed first attempt with 2 minors

About 5 months, 20 x 2 hour lessons. This was 2 years ago and my local test centre was also supposed to be the one with the lowest pass rate.
