What do you eat if you’re slim?

I’m sorry but I really don’t know.

I’m very fat and have been yo-yo dieting for years to the point where I don’t know what a normal healthy day-to-day diet is. I know all the various weight-loss diets etc but it’s the normal eating I struggle with.

I’m currently on a LONG weight loss journey and have lost 3 stone so far but I want to keep it off once I’ve lost it.

I like healthy food and a variety of food - I’m just trying to understand what slim people eat on a typical day.

In particular I’m really interested in what you have for family dinners.

I’m hoping things that can be batches cool feature as I need to save time where I can.

Cereal or egg and toast or fruit, yoghurt & croissants. Not all of those food items together.

Lunch left over dinner from night before or sandwiches & fruit or soup & rolla

Dinner is usually home made curry , rice, daal & veg. All made from scratch, without unnecessary cream & sides of naan bread. Curry should always be served with a large handful of rice not an entire plateful OR naan NOT BOTH. That's why people think curries are fattening because in the UK the portions are huge and it's served with double carbs & cream. It also needs to be served with vegetable side dish and daal. I've been eating curry every day all my life, I'm 7 stones and 5'4.

I am a size 8. I don't eat very well though Blush

Yesterday, for example, I had:

Breakfast - bowl of porridge
Lucnh - a packet of chocolate crepes from Tesco (about 6 of them), a banana and a small tub of pineapple
After work - some chocolate raisins
Tea - some shop bought quiche with pasta and a few slices of mozzarella.

drinks = 1 cup of tea, a few glasses of water and some orange squash.
