Every Time there is a thread on here about parents not being allowed to take photos and share on social media etc at school plays and assemblies there are a load of replies in the vein of stuff everyone else I'll take whatever pics I want.

Just read that the three year old boy who is in hospital having had acid thrown in his face was tracked down by his violent father after his photo appeared in a local paper at an event.

Er if it was in a paper how is that related to social media or parents taking photos? You should be complaining about newspapers taking photos.

I would never post photos of other people's children on social media. I do want to take photos of my own children at events though. The rule should be about social media, not taking photos.

@kenandbarbie er in the paper or on social media just shows how determined people are to track down and hurt children based on a tiny snippet of information they her from a photograph
