AIBU to wonder what on earth to cook for dinner in this heat?

Am really running out of ideas of what to have for supper. I have done the salad/quiche/barbecue thing to it's limit over the last month. Just run out of ideas and wondering if I am the only one who's supposed to come up with what's for dinner? AIBU to just make sandwiches?

I don’t get the change in meals because of the weather.

^Me too. I don’t change my eating habits with the seasons.

I buy seasonal stuff but I still make things like roast dinners and spa bol. I make a few more salads and there are ice lollies in the freezer. That's it.

Yesterday I got a hot ready cooked chicken from Asda, boiled some new potatoes and threw a salad together. Easy and beaut. The chicken was really nice btw.

What I like to make during this hot weather is cut off an appropriate size of Ciabatta. Spread pesto genovese on the cut sides, put sliced tomatoes on the pesto followed by sliced mozzarella. Put in a preheated oven and take out when the mozzarella is melted and has changed color. I could eat this every day.
