Keeping babies cool?

Aibu to ask how you're keeping your little ones cool in this weather?
I love the heat, little man (9 weeks old) does not. He won't nap for long, and then becomes grumpy because not getting his sleepy time. Any suggestions?

It's so hard for them in this weather. My son sleeps in just his nappy and I've started serving his milk cold (apologies if you are bf). I also run a fan with a bowl of cold water in front of it in the room he sleeps in for a couple of hours before he goes to bed.

2l bottle of water, freeze during day then nap in a small room with a fan running behind the ice bottle- it’s a poor mans air con unit.

Though it does require you to have space to freeze a couple 2l bottles as at 9 weeks you need a lot of napping!

Fans on and curtains closed. Baby sleeps just in her nappy. During the day I run her hands and feet under cold water and squirt her with a little bottle of water - both of which she absolutely loves. Cool bath before bed.
Her bedroom is 29c at night. Not ideal but we're in central London and it's hard to catch a breeze at all.

My thirteen day old is just in his nappy. He’s combi fed when breastfeeding him at home I put a Muslin between us it helps us not both overheat

Need to buy a fan! Haven't been moved in long, missing a few essentials as such... He's bf, but I think I'll do some water in a bottle for him. Thank you guys!

Grace - when you say water in a bottle don't give it him to drink, he just needs to feed more but the other advice such as spraying and putting by a fan is good. I used to run a flannel or muslin under the cold tap then wring out and dab dd with it

When mine was tiny and it was sweltering, I lay him on a damp towel with a fan on him which worked really well.
