MIL is very frail but sharp as a tack - she's also banned me so DH and DCs will be going to see her. They must not go empty handed. It's not my job (though I'll be paying for presents and fuel) but looking for ideas.

What about doing one of those photo books online, fill it with pictures of her PFB and GC through the years maybe - although I agree with others that if you are banned then I would begrudge doing anything, but I can see that if left to OH and it’s rubbish that would still end up being your fault, sometimes it’s just easier to do it!

Not a chance I’d be going out of my way to arrange a present for someone who doesn’t think I’m good enough to be married to their son.
Why can’t your DH do it? And why are you paying for fuel?

I have ordered a Mickey Mouse necklace because the 90 years is important and because the stupid man she gave birth to hasn't got a clue.

The reason we fell out was because her 'family' ripped us off but she also took care of the dealer and the one who went to prison for ABH.
