To say no to second piercing

DD who's 13 really wants a second ear piercing. She's been asking for about a year now and at first I thought it was one of those times where she'd want it for a few weeks and then change her mind or completely forget about it. However she's still asking a year later. What age would you say is old enough for a second piercing?

Then let her get them done when she breaks up for the summer. They should be healed by September and if not, she can just take the first set out for school.

My eldest got her second piercing for her 12th birthday. She has a late June birthday so she was school holidays anyway. Her school uniform only only allows one pair so she takes them out sometimes.

I let my them 12 year old , because I knew there would be other requests that I really didn’t want to say yes to, so I can always come back with

“ you know I’m reasonable, I let you get a second ear peircing when I wasn’t keen, but really a full back tattoo is too much”Wink
