For those of you that haven't seen my other thread- my dc is incredibly unwell following a heart transplant..

This morning I was in a coffee shop grabbing a coffee and something to try and eat- while on the phone to my best friend who's looking after my dc, updating her on the latest situation ect. Hung up from her paid and went and sat down until it was ready. As soon as I had sat down some person walked over and started talking about how she'd heard what we were going through she was sorry ect ect, and THEN started talking about how she's a juice plus rep and she's sure she has a product that will 100% help with his recovery!!! Like seriously!? Do what you want to make money.. but how the fuck is approaching an already stressed out near breaking point person who you don't know even remotely acceptable in anyone's brain!?

Did they woman on the phone hear you talking about your son passing away?! I wish I had been there, I couldn’t have made you feel any better (who could) but I’d have made sure she saw the error of her ways.

After my son and my daughter died my children were telling one of my neighbours about their angel brother and angel sister who then proceeded to tell me how she could have saved them with whatever shit she was peddling. She had no idea what they died from at all just interested in making a sale.

She got a short shrift from me and I never talked to her again.

I wish you strength for walking on this shitty awful path of being a bereaved parent. Just take one moment at a time and, please, learn to be selfish and look after yourself first and foremost. Once again I'm so sorry

I cannot say I understand what you are feeling, no one can ever know unless they have been in your position, but I have been close, so close, with my elder son (who survived), but close was bad enough. I’m so, so sorry, my heart goes out to you, be brave and be strong, hang on in there 💕💕💕
