To contact RSPCA

We have a local page on FB for our village.

In the last month, I've seen the same dog has escaped from his home/garden and been found wandering the village alone. He's been found on the school playground, by the shops etc

People often photograph him & put it on the group to see if someone knows whose dog it is. This is then followed by the owner and her friends laughing at the dog, arranging to go and collect him etc.

It's happened 3 times now in the last month (just checked on old FB posts!) - would I be unreasonable to contact RSPCA? I'm concerned the dog may be hit by a car and the woman seems to show no remorse.

If the dog is fed and watered the rspca won't give a shit. I wouldn't bother wasting your time.

I would report this to the dog warden. Totally irresponsible of them.

The RSPCA won't give a shit, but the dog warden is responsible for stray dogs and can hand out a bollocking (and, I think, a fine if it's not microchipped and wearing an ID tag)
