To say bollocks during a funeral speech

I'm thinking of saying a few words at my grandma's funeral and this was her favourite word which she was known for saying a lot. Would it be wrong to include it?

Best eulogy I've ever heard was 'a story of what x isn't' as in 'we all know x was really generous with his time and money... but not with his biscuits!!' It was funny and caring and perfectly right for the day.
Flowers sorry for your loss

I would but I would have a chat with the priest or whoever beforehand to warn them.

Why not get BOLLOCKS in flowery letters? Expensive but only one more letter than GRANDMA.

I did eulogy about my dad, I swore it and also called him a miserable old git! It got a laugh. We sang his favourite hymn "all things bright and bloody beautiful"!!

I agree with running it by close family first - just to avoid upsetting people who are grieving. But if they're fine with it I'd go ahead.

At my lovely aunt's funeral reference was made to her using her status as sweet old lady who knits to take the piss out of people with oblique remarks that left them thinking "does she mean what I think she means?" It raised a few warm smiles.

Check with family and the vicar first.

when my dad died, mum asked that people wear funky ties at his funeral as he was now for his fancy ties. My son wore one of his grandad's that looked like a squiggly pattern and if you turned it sideways it actually said bollocks. DS thought this was highly amusing, and very grandad! the vicar.... not so much. Smile

Do it. A welcome bit of light relief I reckon Smile

If someone doesn’t say bollocks or fucknugget at my funeral I’ll be disappointed!

Sorry for your loss. I’m sure you’ll do your grandma proud x
