To not dress my 4 month olds as superheroes?

DTs attend a baby sensory class. Mostly cos it means I don't feel guilty for refusing to buy them flashy light up toys from ELC.

The teacher announced that this week, she wanted all the babies dressed as superheroes as they are doing a special session for charity. My initial reaction was fuck that shit. Bung you a tenner and call it quits. Aibu?

I mean, I have a 3yo and two small babies. I am going to spend any spare time and cash in a coffee shop, not sewing miniature Catwoman outfits.

I don’t get how these events benefit any charity other than shops of course. How about just collecting a few quid of those wanting to donate and just donating the total.
F* that shite would be my reaction tooGrin

I'm on mat leave and other kids are in school so I dress mine up for baby sensory every week following the themes. Not many others do though it's just because I enjoy it. No issue in not dressing up at all if it's not for you.

I think you are a superhero for doing any classes at all with your twins! Doing errands is treat for mine. Grin
