I've got an intense cluster headache on one side of my front of head, but not only this, I feel dizzy, feel sick and have lost most of the feeling in my left arm!

What do I do?! Baby is 7 months and staring and falling everywhere!

How do people survive this?! I haven't fo his cot set up yet so I can't even stick him in there with toys

I want to sob Sad

Poor you, that sounds awful!

Are you able to phone a friend or family member to come to take your baby for the day?

Have you ever lost the feeling in your arm before? There is a thing called a 'Hemiplegic migraine' that could explain it but it's probably best to call an ambulance as it could be much more serious.

Get a babysitter and medical help

Broken11Girl · 05/07/2018 11:04

Oof. Probably just a migraine but I would get seen just in case. Can you call anyone to look after baby? If not, take him with you. Flowers

Imnotaslimjim · 05/07/2018 11:11

If you're already diagnosed with hemiplegic migraine you need to ask for help with DC, take whatever medication you have for it and rest.

If this is new for you, please get checked over, just in case.

LanguidLobster · 05/07/2018 11:11

Are you prone to headaches? I mean is this a new thing and has come on suddenly?

HomeTimeByeBye · 05/07/2018 12:45

Sorry all, for just replying now.

DH is on his way home Thanks

I've had these before, it's migraine, I sometimes lose my vision completely but haven't had one since before DS was born!

I cried earlier, and DS crawled over, put his cheek on mine and stroked my face Blush He hasn't moved from my side since and is just playing with his feet, having the odd feed and babbling. What did I do to deserve him?!

I'm worried this will keep cropping up again so I'll be making an appointment with my GP to see if there's anything specific I can have to help as painkillers off of the shelf aren't cutting it

Sorry to anyone else who suffers, it's more than shite

You can take migraleve. I had the worst migraine I've had in over 10 years a few weeks back - thankfully DD 1 was at nursery and it was mid afternoon so DD2 (about 12 weeks at the time) just lay next to me. I saw my Dr and I couldn't have some drugs as I'm breast feeding but they said migraleve is fine.
