Help organising a hen do??

My BF has just booked her wedding for 1.5 months time... I’m MOH and hen is gonna be in one month time.
She’s laid back, opposite of a bridezilla, only 10 attendees and she’s made it clear she doesn’t want a faff or a weekend abroad or anything like that.
I’ve picked the location but am wondering how to make it unique and a day to remember. Without being cheesy, cringe, overdone or too ‘organised fun’
PS I’m actually a project manager for a day job so should be good at this stuff... but everything I’ve found is one of the aforementioned criteria I (and I know my BF) would not want.
HELP WANTED PLEASE!

I am mob for my bf who gets married in 5 weeks and these were the hens I organised-

  • spa weekend - just me and bride the first night and everyone else the second (12 of us) custom made vintage style badges, classy decorated reserved area in bar, videoed mr/mrs and a few “who knows bride best” quizzes for hens split in teams of two and procecco for prizes. Classy, relaxed weekend.

  • next weekend - 1940s vintage hair/makeup makeover (vintage classy badge for bride) and afternoon tea (5 of us) then a meal for 20 in evening - don’t remember the meal as too much prosecco in the day ;) makeover was loads of fun.

On hens I've done chocolate-making, going to a musical, going to the Harry Potter Studio Tour, spa day, pub session with games and cake, bowling and just meal out with all the hen night trimmings.

TBH, when I got married I thought I didn't want anything too hen party-ish but when it came to it I enjoyed all the cheesiness (when I say cheesy, I mean no penises or L plates or strippers! Just sashes and gift bags and games). It depends if you think the bride will secretly enjoy all that!

When you say venue, what sort of venue are talking about? How many hours will you be there? Can you hire a fancy and personable chef to come in and prepare a delicious meal? Have a psychic come do a group reading?

Could you have a lunch someplace she loves, catch a show afterwards then all on a dinner cruise type thing? Or just the dinner cruise?

My ideal hen would be simple, a high tea and a medium reading. I don't believe in them but think it is fun especially if they guess right!

Every one is different but I've been on SO MANY hen dos over the past few years so here goes; most followed by a meal and night out or just night out...

Activities for the day;
Day at the races
Spa day and afternoon tea
Afternoon tea with prosecco and cocktails
Brunch and cocktails
Escape room game
Dance lesson/Lip sync battle
Magic Mike strip show....

Games;
Mr and Mrs
Body parts (hen guesses who's is who's including her partner
Prosecco pong

Its fun to do the games as it breaks the ice if people don't know each other very well, I wouldn't do more than one activity as it can get quite overwhelming and expensive.
