To ask if you can explain the difference to me between the 'free' ww diet and free slimming world diet? Im trying to find a healthy way forward and want to follow a basic guideline whilst not being too distracted by too many rules.

SW is also eat until satisfied not until stuffed. All meals should be a minimum of 1/3 speed food (lower calorie dense veg or fruit), which goes on the plate before other food to reduce total calories of the meal. Then a balance of lean meat or other protein and non processed carbs. You get a portion of calcium rich food and fibre rich food to ensure essential nutrition. If hungry you are advised to turn to speed or free food first. It's quite healthy. Personally I don't eat many potatoes or rice but it is allowed within reason.

Syns are for higher calorie dense foods in order to teach you to limit these but not to go without 100% the idea being the plan needs to be something that you can live with every day for ever and no one wants to imagine life without cake, chocolate or booze ever again.

You are encouraged to increase your exercise (body magic) and water in take, and no matter what you read here no one makes you eat mullet lite yoghurt so 😀

I've lost 3 1/2 stone and been at target over a year now. It does work. However I also liked using my fitness pal to learn more about calorie content of different foods and portions again the beginning

Try bootcamp on here? It’s a low carb and high fat way of life which really works. 10 rules, free and dramatic success for most!
