DD took a shower this evening and left the window slightly ajar, water spilled down our house into our front garden. Didn't touch the neighbours property, but since their kids like to sit on the fence between our properties they came around telling us to close the window so the kids don't get wet. Then threatened to 'talk to our landlord' (we own the house) even though we were nothing but polite.

Now I've got outside and seen their kids have dumped a packet of marshmallows (melted and covered in ants) 2x ice cream cones and lolly wrappers next to our bin.

We've put up with loud music/swearing/constant cigarette and weed smoke/throwing things over the fence from these people, but won't be dealing with abusive behaviour. AIBU to call the police, can they do anything?

Ahh right, fair enough. Nothing you can do then until it’s fixed.
