Just that. Angry

I like them! And if the thread title shows that it's about something I'm not interested in, I ignore it. It's not hard

tixdy · 30/06/2018 23:00

OP your post made me laugh, in a good way Grin. BMW6 was also quite funny (until towards the end ; I thought she was joking until then) Grin

GMtoBe · 30/06/2018 23:01

The MIL one was hilarious!

littlemissdynamite · 30/06/2018 23:01

@FissionChips

Why have you started two threads under 2 usernames with the same subject matter?

Just WHY? Confused

Creambun2 · 30/06/2018 23:03

Yanbu. These sort of threads are usually for the op to (not so stealth) boast about stuff.

welshmist · 30/06/2018 23:05

Well they are breeding like rabbits tonight Grin

Smashpumpkin · 30/06/2018 23:06

YANBU. Every other fecking thread is one. Have to say that I laughed at the mushroom one Grin

KittyVonCatsworth · 30/06/2018 23:21

Confused I’ve only seen one and that’s the one active just now which is the MiL one which is quite lighthearted. It’s good to have some fun in amongst the sometimes doom and gloom (of which I’m a frequent flier with btw)

FissionChips · 30/06/2018 23:23

I haven’t started two threads Hmm

YoYotheclown · 30/06/2018 23:27

MN has become such a joyous place Hmm

I love the ama pilot one. Really interesting. So YABU.

Bugjune · 30/06/2018 23:28

The crematorium one was brilliant and strangely comforting.

StaplesCorner · 30/06/2018 23:28

So why did they start? Was there a group agreement?

StaplesCorner · 30/06/2018 23:28

I want to see the crematorium one now!

callmeadoctor · 30/06/2018 23:34

I love them!

FissionChips · 30/06/2018 23:37

I’d be happy if MN made a AMA subtopic, the threads spawn too fast to hide them all.

surferjet · 01/07/2018 02:26

I like them, some of them are really interesting.

Battleax · 01/07/2018 02:29

I like them too. I can’t find the pilot one Angry

CadyHeron · 01/07/2018 15:59

YABU.

Lethaldrizzle · 01/07/2018 16:03

Strange thing to get worked up about. The mil one was funny.

PavlovianLunge · 01/07/2018 16:24

If people enjoy them, they’re not going to fuck off anytime soon.

If not, maybe you can focus on some of the tens of thousands of other threads on MN.

SumerisIcumenin · 01/07/2018 16:33

Hide thread. Problem solved.

henpeckedinchief · 01/07/2018 16:36

I agree! Who do people think they are to assume anyone would really care what they are / what they do. Some might be vaguely interesting if it's a relevant or exciting profession for example, but some of them have been for the most mundane things and you can't imagine why anyone would have a question for them!!

MaisyPops · 01/07/2018 19:36

Even mundane jobs can have interesting elements.
I'm sure some may say that the reception teacher job thread is mundane, but I'm actually interested because it's so different to what I do.
Others I'm not so interested in so I don't reply.

Let's be honest most days there's repeats of essentially the same threads:
AIBU to think my neighbour shouldn't park there?
MIL offered us help with the children. AIBU to think she's threatened by my presence?
DH texted a female colleague. Should I get my rainy day fund ready

DC got a detention. Should I tell them not to attend?

If you're interested, read. If not, don't.
