To think that my DH’s boss can print payslips.

We’re remortgaging and need to produce evidence of wages. Several months ago my DH told the accountant in his firm to stop printing his payslips. It has now emerged that while the accountant stopped printing them, he did not email them either, clearly my DH wasn’t bothered by this. Anyway, DH asked accountant today to print off his last four week’s slips (he’s paid weekly) and was told by accountant that he couldn’t do it. We really need these sooner rather than later. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

If they want replacement payslips as they have lost them, they can pay I reckon.(especially if you will have to ask external company to do it, who will charge)

For any sage users out there the option is under the reprinting historical reports menu on the left.

Our external company always says they will charge but never do. I tell staff they will have to pay any charges.

The accountant must use a very old system!

A lot of companies only issue online payslips now and most mortgage companies accept that along with bank statement evidence to show the net amount went into the account.
One system I used meant you couldn't reprint it but could PDF it. Yes you can mock up a PDF but you can do the same with a print out.

Unless things have changed (possible), the only payroll document that cannot be reproduced is a P45.
