Hermes shitty delivery

I've ordered a few things from eBay and Amazon over the last few days. Hermes have tried 3 times to deliver something to me over the last 3 days and as I work, I've not been in. Most other places leave in a safe place or with a neighbour. This parcel has now been sent back to the originator and I have to rearrange and pay for delivery again. Thing is, I have no idea what it is they tried to deliver me as the calling card is blank!! No way of rearranging delivery, no contact details, only an automated number to contact them on.

AIBU to think that I don't have this issue with any other delivery service and that it's a bit of a joke?

It must be your area/courier as Hermes always leave parcels in my porch. The one time I had an issue, the driver wouldn’t deliver without a signature (but it’s beenfine since)

You should be able to check the tracking of your items to figure out which order it was. It’s pretty simple on both amazon and eBay. However you could also wait until the sender receives it as they will refund you

My local Hermes driver always throws things over the fence into the garden. This has included glass coffee percolators, a Fitbit and various other items.... He always marks it as being left in our 'secure porch'

Hermes delivered my parcel to a local shop then collected it back themselves the same day THREE TIMES before I could go and collect it after work.

Three times they delivered it to the shop in the morning then picked it up the same day and took it back to the depot. I had 10 days to collect the parcel.

I nearly managed to get it before them on the third attempt but got delayed and missed them by minutes.
