Mine was Corn Chex, but they no longer sell it in the UK. They stopped selling it about 15 years ago. Now my favourite is Frosted Wheats.

Malted wheats. Yum. Now I really fancy a bowl...

jaseyraex · 21/06/2018 22:05

Chocapic was my favourite as a kid. I grew up in France and had them every morning. I was devastated when we moved to the UK and they didn't have them!

Now I'm quite partial to a bowl of Krave or Weetos.

CrazyDaisy2018 · 21/06/2018 22:06

Crunchy Nut or Rice Krispies with ice cold milk. Rice Krispies have to have added sugar though, so not v healthy at all!

CanIhavedessertfirst · 21/06/2018 22:09

Used to love Corn Pops (like Kelloggs' version of golden nuggets), quaker oat crunch and banana bubbles as a kid. My favourites now are Curiously cinnamon and clusters. Ooh, and M&S strawberry and almond crunch.

QuitMoaning · 21/06/2018 22:12

And another Grape Nuts fan here. Absolutely love them and I can get them from large Tesco’s!

hunterbear · 21/06/2018 22:18

Honey nut loops
Ricicles
Wheetos
Coco pops

BertieBotts · 21/06/2018 22:18

My grandma used to like All Bran with all kinds of fresh fruit on it :)

I like corn flakes (must be Kellogg's) with really cold milk, sliced banana and sometimes a sprinkle of sugar on top.

gottachangethename1 · 21/06/2018 22:31

Sainsbury’s no added sugar or salt muesli with 0% fat Greek style yoghurt. Love breakfast.

HushabyeMountainGoat · 21/06/2018 22:33

Frosties with loads of ice cold milk

hididdlyhoneighborino · 21/06/2018 22:33

Crunchy Nut Clusters with choc flakes

Furrycushion · 21/06/2018 22:34

Another one who loves grape nuts. Like a cruchier ground up shreddie. Nice with hot milk too

Lokisglowstickofdestiny · 21/06/2018 22:36

As a kid I loved Frosties. I don't eat cereal very often now but when I do it's porridge with unsweetened almond milk and a few blueberries. As I've got older I've lost my sweet tooth, I don't think I could eat Frosties now.

HaroldsSocalledBluetits · 21/06/2018 22:37

Have they really stopped making Ricicles? Ffs fuck you, Jamie Oliver.

RitaMills · 21/06/2018 22:37

Was - Start, I wonder if they still make it. Used to eat it every morning when I was younger but not seen it for years.

Now - Crunchy nut cornflakes, always at night when I fancy a munch if I’m still peckish after dinner. Never for breakfast though as cereal doesn’t fill me up until lunch.

PinotAndPlaydough · 21/06/2018 22:42

Looks like I’m spending the weekend hunting down golden grahams then. No idea why I thought they had to changed their name to cinnamon Graham’s. My grandma used to buy us all the crappy cereal my mum wouldn’t, we also got chocolate spread which we weren’t allowed at home and would have it at least two inches thick on our toast.

SeriousSimon · 21/06/2018 22:44

Coco pops. O genuinely think I could do a whole box in in one sitting if I tried. It's for that reason I very rarely buy them!

between4and7 · 21/06/2018 22:48

@Weedsnseeds1 Sainsbury's have grape nuts

OP posts:
idratherbe30than20 · 21/06/2018 22:49

Start. It's not discontinued, I had a box from Tesco not that long ago, maybe end of last year? It's not quite the same though I'm sure the pieces are smaller (or maybe my mouth is just bigger!)

between4and7 · 21/06/2018 22:50

Yeah no more ricicles I loved them!
Frosties are no good now either not enough sugar on them may as well have a corn flake!

OP posts:
avado · 21/06/2018 22:50

Was: lucky charms
Now: don’t like cereal

Sophisticatedsarcasm · 21/06/2018 22:51

Weetabix
And Frosties but only with gold top milk

OwlinaTree · 21/06/2018 22:53

Liked start and banana bubbles. Sugar puffs were lush. The only one I still eat that I liked as a kid is raisin wheats.

Louise322 · 21/06/2018 22:53

NOTHING, because of DS I'm not allowed cows milk and I don't like any other milk so no more cereal Envy

I use to love coco pops, cinnamon squares, Alpen, loads

Last time I tried sugar puffs they weren't as sweet Angry

Grimtimes · 21/06/2018 22:54

Was Golden Nuggets (1970's)
Now Dorset Cereals Seriously Nutty

kirta · 21/06/2018 22:55

rita start is sold in my local sainsburys. Along with grape nuts. And Golden Grahams. Maybe that's where all cereals go to retire...
