Apologies, loosely based on a TAAT. As a carer I will need very flexible hours, preferably one where WFH heavily features.
I know IANBU to ask what you do, but please say what your role is and if you feel it works for you. Advantages/disavantages?

Civil Servant. I generally work from home 2 days a week but could easily work 5 if I wanted to. Most meetings are multi location and held via Skype. Maybe once or twice a month I have face to face meetings that I have to travel for.

Shared Lives carer which is like fostering a vulnerable adult. Best job I've ever had. It's basically been about welcoming someone to our family and helping them live their best life, in our family home.

Sports physio - I'm out visiting clients for most of the week, but spend between 2 and 4 days at home depending on the time of year. I also, work as a consultant in my field doing various projects for clients and do that from home.

No children but dogs and an elderly father.

Academic. At home unless lecturing/ in meeting. Some writing on the side.

I run my own editing business. I was an in-house editor for a number of years before setting up solo. I love the flexibility and ability to choose projects. I'm not a hugely social person so I don't mind working from home, and I love the flexibility of hours and that I can choose my own income, really, based on how much I want to work.

I'm currently pregnant and hoping that I'll be able to phase back in after maternity leave at my own speed too.

Try this website for flexible working jobs. I work from home 2 days per week as a PA & 3 days in the office.

Higher Education quality and standards, I love it.It's incredibly varied and interesting. It's flexible, I can work at home if I want. It's well paid with good benefits and very generous leave and my colleagues are the loveliest bunch of people that I've ever worked with. It just really suits me, my skills and experience.

Obviously there are minor irritations but generally it's the nicest job I've ever had.

My DS is grown up and both my parents are no longer alive but the drawback with caring responsibilities would be that there can be quite a lot of travel involved.

I'm working in an office at the moment but if between jobs I proof read from home.
