I'm so upset by this. I feel like throwing up every time I think of it, and imagine DD in that situation.

What can normal people do about it?

The recent press conference suggests many of the adults are unable to prove they are the parents.

Why don't you ask instead what families can do to stop themselves being separated at the border? They could, you know, not illegally cross it knowing their very small children will be removed from them.

Where is parental responsibility in all this? They are crossing from MEXICO which is a safe country and a holiday destination!

Unless we're getting to the point where just coming from a country that isn't America means you are being politically oppressed and in need of asylum?

The recent press conference suggests many of the adults are unable to prove they are the parents.

It suggested plenty of other stuff that turned out to be bare-faced lies too.

Why not donate a percentage of your income or savings to a charity that specialises in helping refugees?
