Hi, sorry posting here for traffic as no response on the other page.

Cat had his second vaccination yesterday (he had to start the course again). Today the spot he had done has come up like this...

It's very red and weeping. He doesn't react when I stroke him over the area and is eating. Should I take him back to the vets first thing tomorrow or am I over reacting and just phone?

Freaking out a bit as we just got a new cat (his vaccinations are all up to date). AIBU to be worried?

Aww. Lovely cats. Are you feliway? I've had great success with it in the past. And making sure they are fed at opposite ends of the room, and have different options for water around the parts of the house they have access to. It takes time and patience but I'm sure they'll learn to at least tolerate each other, and hopefully be friends, good luck!

I know you’ve already been, but just wanted to say I’d always take to the vets if it looks like it could be an absess. Had a cat die from an absess from a bite Sad
