Ed Sheerans guitar

Am I being unreasonable to really really want a guitar like Ed Sheerans?
I am learning to play the guitar (currently at grade 3) and I am using a cheapish guitar.

Watching BBC Weekends Biggest moments and ED makes it look so easy. I cant afford one like ED's but that doesn't stop me wanting one.

I'm learning too (had lessons for a year, now broke so learning online) and I now have 3 guitars..one steel string Yamaha, a nylon electro acoustic and a 3/4 size classical guitar (cos I am currently having a bash at some simple classical stuff but can't stretch to some of the barre chords) Not expensive ones but not mega cheap either..it'smy only hobby !

I believe Ed has a 3/4 size Taylor. I'd rather like one myself! Save up for one if you fancy it. Which one are you ogling?

Martin Ed Sheeran Divide Signature Edition. I had a full size Yamaha and it was just to big and I gave up. Then I started again a year ago with a Fender 3/4 size.

I could not play an F major and a G7 due to my small hands, so I restrung the Fender with really light silk/steel strings and after 3 months of 1-2 hrs a day solid practice and I can now finally play F major and G7.

OOh NICE ! (Just had a google).
I'm just about ok on my Yamaha (apx500) steel string as it has a nice narrow neck, but I'm currently murdering 'Romanza' and had to get a 3/4 size classical because there are some nasty barres that I really stuggle to reach (apart from the fact that the piece is too advanced for me really Grin) I'm using a Cordoba Cadete (£300) but would love a really nice one one day when I can actually play a bit better!
What sort of music are you learning? I'm more folk (simon and Garfunkle type) but have recently dicovered I want to learn classical, but need to find a teacher who is more that way inclined!
I'm 50 with stiff hands so it's frustrating at times but I get a lot of pleasure from it too!

If you learn to make a nice sound on a bit of a crappy instrument then it will be really good for.your technique.

I am very much a beginner. I follow the RGT courses.
