Guest at his cousin's wedding yesterday. I think it's sweet the way he colour co-ordinated his tie with his wife's frock.

Think it's time he lost the beard.

This threads ridiculous, whats it proving. All it does is show that on the whole no one gives a flying fuck about what the men wear because every suit looks practically identical to another. If Harry turned up in a 50 grand dress i'm sure everyone's attention would turn on him. I'm sure if Meghan wore more or less the same old thing every day people would soon lose interest. I'm not interested in what she or any other woman in the public eye wears, but they are the ones who make a big deal about their clothes etc.

I bet MM would be horrified if everyone ignored her outfits in favour of Harry's boring suits.

The aim of this thread, as I see it, is to highlight how women are constantly scrutinised and assessed on the basis of their appearance in a way that men never are. And you can bet that if MM or KM chose to wear the same thing every day, or chose to shop at Primark, they would still be scrutinised and commented upon, in a way that men never are. To many colours. Trousers. Shirt. Jacket. Tie. Waist coat.... Better to of just stick with a couple of colours. And her dress doesnt suit her at all

I hate it when men go all Groomzilla and expect all their male guests to dress in a way that suits the groom, but with no regard to the colouring, size or body shape of the other men.

So why has no one done a thread on Harry and Williams clothes and appearance. There's loads of opportunity to do it on mumsnet, why should the fact that no one comments on their appearance need highlighting. Could it be to do with the fact that men in general don't put as much emphasis on their clothes/appearance as women do.

I think it's understandable that women are interested in what other women wear, but women in the public eye do put huge emphasis on what they wear. Royal women, especially since Diana, have made a huge thing about what they wear, therefore it shouldn't be surprising that they get more attention than the males. Diana outshone Charles at every single outing, no one was interested in what he wore, why would they be, he never looked any different. Why bleat about something that you've probably been guilty of yourself.

Harry needs to get his colours done.
