First of all, apologies for the REALLY long post, but I hope you will read it all the way through. I have to get it off my chest.
I'm a straight male who can tell if other guys are good looking or not. I can tell you that this is guy is straight up repulsive looking and vastly, VASTLY overrated in the looks department by gold-diggers obsessed with money and status (although I have heard lots of women call him ugly as well, like in this thread, so well done to those of you with taste).
If you look at Ronaldo before he got all the plastic surgery and dental work he was absolutely hideous. Now he's upgraded to less hideous. However, he has no upper lip, a recessed jaw (this comes from mouthbreathing, you can also see it when he smiles with those big fake looking teeth and that narrow palate/smile), no chin (especially noticeable from the side/profile view) greasy, shitty hair, acne-scarred skin, funny little sticky-out ears, a giraffe neck, and a huge adam's apple. His physique is fantastic and I think that and his money and fame are what women find attractive about him, because his face is most certainly deeply unattractive.
I've heard other women say things like 'vile', 'don't be fooled by the money and fame, there's nothing attractive about this guy' and 'I'm baffled by all the praise, must be his giant wallet'. This simply doesn't happen to genuinely good looking famous men - the most women will say about a great looking famous guy she isn't attracted to is 'he's not my type, but I can see why other women like him' - however, with Ronaldo, his detractors actually cast aspersions on why any other woman would like him too. Why? Because he is hideous to the core.
As for the comments in here about his 'charity work' - it's clearly an exercise in PR so people will come on and boast about it on his behalf and make him more popular - loads of celebrities do it. Since this thread was posted a year and a half ago the ugly Portuguese bellend has been accused of rape, and let's not get into his tax fraud. Unfortunately, clowns like he and Beckham (another guy who is vastly overrated in attractiveness, but at least he USED to be good looking, unlike Ronaldo) have an army of sycophants (often male) who admire them and put them on a pedestal and think they can do no wrong. It's celebrity worship of the highest order.
Going back to Ronaldo's looks, I actually think men with man crushes fancy him more than women do. They admire him as a footballer and project their creepy homosexual fantasies onto women. I've read women talking amongst themselves calling Ronaldo ugly, and have spoken to women who don't think he's attractive at all. Just about every female in this thread is calling him ugly. My male mate loves him and thinks 80 per cent of women are lusting after him, which just proves my point about daft men projecting their fantasies onto women.
Honestly, I think I am better looking than C Ronaldo.
As for his football ability...There's some nonsense in here about how amazing a footballer he is. Wrong. He's an amazing GOALSCORER, not FOOTBALLER (they are different things). He often gets fundamentals wrong such as first touch, and his dribbling and passing have always been mediocre. He's also average at best in tight spaces. Compared to a true genius like Lionel Messi he's nowhere near as good (and the fact the media and Ronaldo's clueless fans have tried to turn he vs Messi into a goal stats argument just reduces Messi's game, since he has far more to his game than goals whereas Ronaldo has always been only about goals) and it's a disgrace the media have put Ronaldo on the same level (thankfully 99 per cent of people in football know Messi is the significantly superior player). Guys like Maradona (best player ever), Pele, Zidane, Cruyff, di Stefano, Garrincha, Beckenbauer, Platini, Brazilian Ronaldo, Zico were better than C Ronaldo too, but C Ronaldo benefits from goal stats and recency bias in relation to those players. Truth is there are loads of myths about his playing career and he often takes all the credit (eg the myth that he carried Real Madrid, when in fact they won 2 La Ligas in 9 seasons he was there, and in the CLs he won he was abysmal in the 2014, 2016 and 2018 finals and bailed out by his team-mates, the same team-mates who regularly laid goals on a plate for him). HE IS A TOP PLAYER, buy at the same time pretty overrated. Wouldn't make my top ten players ever or most sensible people's.
Like I say about Ronaldo's looks - he benefits from his halo of being one of the top and most famous players in the world. If he was far less famous but still known to people would he stand out for his looks eg if he was a journeyman player at Catania or Leganes? Of course he wouldn't, most people wouldn't bat an eyelid at the big toothed rat-faced gimp.
Men like Chris Hemsworth, Fabian Schar, Rurik Gislason, prime Brad Pitt, young Leonardo diCaprio, George Clooney, Chris Hemsworth, Paul Newman, Marlon Brando and millions others in this world absolutely are MILES better looking than a weird-looking guy like C Ronaldo. It's a joke that some people act like he's really good looking - these people have no taste.
By the way, I feel this way about some of these other celebrity 'sex symbols'. The only male celebrity I feel is even MORE overrated in the looks department than Ronaldo is Ryan Gosling. Now he is a long-faced, close-set eyed moron and women must be taking the absolute piss to call him handsome.
TLDR, Ronaldo is hideous looking, a top footballer but very overrated compared to Messi and other players from the past, and there are tons of way better looking footballers and male celebrities in general eg Hemsworth, Clooney, Hummels.
