Sometimes it’s ok but when I’ve put my heart & soul into a message, I find it a bit insulting. I would rather the person waits until they have time to reply.

I like it, means I can follow multiple fast moving group chats.

It depends on the heart and soul message and whether that person is prone to dramatics as well. Sometimes an acknowledgement is all you can do until you've got the time to reply. Would you prefer a read but nothing else?

I agree with you OP. But it’s not the ‘right’ way, some people think it would be worse to read and do nothing.

BigPinkBall · 11/06/2018 10:18

I thought it was just an acknowledgement, so if someone messages you that they’ll be a bit late or yes they agree to something you’ve asked them then it’s a I’ve seen your message but don’t need to reply. Not sure it’s suitable for a heart and soul message though.

You can change it.

We have a serial thumbs upper in one group so I changed it to the poodle emoji. It doesn’t make her better at communication, but it does sort of high light how silly it looks!

I like it!

I like being able to communicate "Bored of talking. Fuck off now" in pass-agg emoticons.

CheeseyToast · 11/06/2018 10:23

Yeah it sucks

I use it when talking to my ex 😉
