Having a giggle at this one tonight. Who wouldn't want a one eyed owl and some very small bits of carpet?

You physically cannot shift things on our local selling page unless they're free and dirty - no point putting good condition items on there!

@LunMay345 not frequently no..The guy who bought it said he would fix it and sell it on.. I am more than happy with that. Saves going in the landfill.

It’s amazing what people will buy. I once sold a broken TV. Buyer was fully aware the thing was broken. When I delivered it to his house (only five minute drive away so I thought why not) he was over the moon with it. I again reiterated that it was broken (the DVD player on the side had a habit of swallowing discs and there was a strange fuzzy patch in the corner of the screen when it was on, possibly a haunting of some kind) but he was unfazed. I have no idea what he intended to do with it but not my business.

@WTFnnoh some people buy things to fix, or so they can take them apart and see how they work. Bikes are particularly popular on my local site - in any state at all! I think people just like to "tinker" with them.

Aviator, so would I I'd take him for 2 quid.

I don't know if the owl is fixable tbh.

This particular seller has the most amazing tat. I will have a trawl through recent posts and see if there are any other gems. T'was the owl that caught my eye.
