This Strawberry Baileys stuff? Anyone else’s social media appear to be rammed with women obsessed with getting their hands on the stuff.

I mean fair play if something appeals to you. But there are practically klaxons going off and group alerts if someone’s found it in their local Asda Confused

It seems a little bit weird to be obsessing over what is effectively a £14 bottle of strawberry milkshake (and sounds grim).

Yeah just make a strawberry milkshake and stick some vodka in it if you want to get pissed on kiddy drinks.

I forgot about this but am seeing a friend this weekend where this would bring back some happy memories. So WHERE can I get it? Sorry op I know this is what you were complaining about!

SpartacusJnr · 13/06/2018 16:28

Is in 'selected asda stores' and I've seen a post that someone got it in a costco.

Also online from Amazon etc. 👍

SpartacusJnr · 13/06/2018 16:28

It wasn't in my local asda last week but appeared this week.

Vitalogy · 13/06/2018 16:31

I think I'll have to get me some of that. First I've heard of it. Thanks OP.

TheSpottedZebra · 13/06/2018 16:35

Pallets of the stuff in the asda I was in today.

amusedbush · 13/06/2018 16:50

I keep seeing on social media and I think it looks grim. So sickly.

Although I prefer Aldi's Ballycastle to real Bailey's so what do I know Grin

ILikeyourHairyHands · 13/06/2018 16:51

Sounds vile. Talking of drunk teenagers my friend and I thought it would be highly sophisticated to buy a bottle of cointreau once, turns out it's really difficult to actually neck a whole bottle of the stuff.

blackteasplease · 13/06/2018 17:19

I wouldn't like it cos I don't like strawberry flavour anything. But I don't object to it's existence.

However I agree with you OP that this idea that women should get into a frenzy about any alcoholic drink - be it gin, prosecco or anything - is silly. Men are less and less encouraged to go mad about larger or whatever - they are just left to get on with drinking what they fancy and seem to.manage fine. Even if it were the same for supposed "men's drinks" it would still be stupid.

I do like the very occasional Baileys if the situation calls for it (!) but these things can get daft.
