in terms of the potential rejection.

I have been for two first interviews and not heard anything back. The first was too long ago for there to be a chance I have a second interview. The other interview was last Friday, so I suppose there is an outside chance but I doubt it. The first people never got back to me at all, which I thought was off.

Anyway, it’s all that raised hope and then realising you are “not wanted”.

It's hard not to take it personally. It's one thing not acknowledging an application (although still not great but they may not have the resources if they get loads of applicants) but it is really off not to let you know the outcome of an interview.

You wouldn't want to work somewhere like that anyway, right OP? (I may be projecting over an interview two years ago. Not that I'm still annoyed and boycotting that company. Yeah, take that international conglomerate!)

No, but I am a bit surprised that the second place I was interviewed at also seem to be doing the same thing.

Grin Yes, I was considering giving my first place a bad google review, but thought that might not be the greatest idea!

Yes it really is hard not to take the rejection personally, and also not to wish I had said different things at the interviews.
