To ask why the NHS funds viagra?

Yes only men who are impotent due to medical problems get viagra on the NHS. But last year there were nearly 3 million prescriptions issued for viagra. Is this really the best use of NHS money?

Just because it doesn't stop someone from dying doesn't mean it shouldn't be avaliable. I'm assumming you are also again birth control (condoms, IUD, the pill, the implant, etc) being free on the NHS because they should just abstain from sex as "no one needs sex". YABU, or course it should be free along with birth control.
