I have googled. They all seem to be proper dough that you roll out and deep fat fry, but im sure at the sea side it looks like a wetter mixture that just drops out of a machine?

has anyone made doughnuts like this?!

thanks!

Oh god I love seaside donuts can someone bring some to me please Smile I can confirm that the donuts
at Gullivers kingdom are also good for anyone landlocked like me!

Sainsbury's ring doughnuts are much better than any other supermarket ones if you don't have any luck with your recipes. Lovely and crispy on the outside and soft in the middle and sugary. Mmmmmmmmm

Addy2 · 06/06/2018 17:35

Do you mean like dinky donuts?

Bobbybear10 · 06/06/2018 17:36

@icecreamcrackers

Can you make them Gluten free? I’m happy to pay postage GrinGrin

icecreamcrackers · 06/06/2018 17:36

It comes in a big sack from the wholesalers 12.5kg bags to be exact I just add water to it.

icecreamcrackers · 06/06/2018 17:38

They don't do they gluten free sorry :( We do travel around the country though for anyone else ;)

Butterflykissess · 06/06/2018 17:58

I find sainsburys ones tasteless. The funfair doughnuts are lovely but expensive

Immers · 02/02/2021 19:19

@icecreamcrackers who is the better made by at the wholesale? Can put a picture of it please

NotBrigitteBardot · 02/02/2021 20:34

The funfair doughnuts are expensive if you only buy one but cheap if you buy a bag of 10 Grin
They taste great because you are eating them straight from the fryer

I know this thread is old but hot doughnuts from places like this (there's a pop up hut that sells them at a nearby garden centre) are my favourite ever
