Neighbour playing loud Ed Sheeran

CactusFred · 03/06/2018 16:16

New josh neighbours are always playing music too loud in the garden. I've been tolerating it as no choice really.

However they're playing Ed Sheeran. AIBU to go round there Dan issue them an ASBO?

I was shocked to discover Ed sold out 3 shows in Glasgow this weekend!

insancerre · 03/06/2018 17:10

Hire a hit man

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 03/06/2018 17:12

A judge would never convict.

SaucyJack · 03/06/2018 17:16

Fight fire with Fire. Play something deeply unpleasant at the exactly the same volume so that if they complain you can point out the hypocrisy.

This on repeat should do it.

CactusFred · 03/06/2018 19:00

@Gilead I'd be happy to live near you!

I'm tempted by the NIN suggestion or maybe some Rammstein,

I went out and it had become Taylor Swift when I returned Confused

Channel your inner TayTay and sing along loudly, and badly. Preferably through a megaphone.

CrochetBelle · 03/06/2018 19:05

My neighbours were doing this yesterday. They're asshats at the best of times so I had no patience for it. I did consider playing Slipknot at fill blast but my 10 year old got in there first with Jojo Siwa 😂😂

NC4Now · 03/06/2018 19:10

Last night we had karaoke Aviici (or however it’s spelt) complete with doo doo de doo do do, der dee dee, doo doo de doo do do doo doo...

CactusFred · 03/06/2018 19:15

@CrochetBelle yes yes a bit of Duality might cover the sentiment the neighbour's musical choices are invoking !

@ipswichwitch not sure I know where to find my inner TayTay 😎

Does The SheerHobbit even go up.loud with his whining?.

I think some Eurovision Moldovans might be in order.

As I say to my students, there are only 3 things in life worse than no music, and they are Ed Sheeran, Coldplay and U2 post 1995.

BillywigSting · 03/06/2018 19:20

I had this with my previous neighbours.

I found NIN, slipknot, even nirvana at full volume soon put an end to it.

It was a bit childish but it was a case of 'my loud music is louder than your loud music (and my stereo is better than yours too)'

BillywigSting · 03/06/2018 19:22

Blast em with a bit of the beautiful people op, that'll learn em!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 03/06/2018 19:25

NDN son plays some shit that sounds like Lordi (Hard Rock Hallelujah) Eurovision Winner but surely it cannot be Confused

I'm in two minds what is worse though, Ed Sheeran or Lordi-like

GrandTheftWalrus · 03/06/2018 19:29

Fire out some Du Hast.

CactusFred · 03/06/2018 19:29

@ThenCameTheFools I disagree.
U2 post1988 (Rattle and Hum) Grin

Cheesy 80s music including actions in the garden Wink

CactusFred · 03/06/2018 19:32

@GrandTheftWalrus I'm plotting some Slipknot, followed by Du Hast and maybe some Combichrist or similar.

It's moved from Taylor now, I think it's currently Meghan Trainor. Not as bad as Taylor but I'm still pissed cos of the Ed Sheeran.

GrandTheftWalrus · 03/06/2018 19:38

Usually when me and DP have a drink we play Du Hast loudly and he burst his hand open on the table when hitting it to the music lol.

He's actually working the 3 ed Sheeran gigs in Glasgow this weekend

CactusFred · 03/06/2018 20:00

Grandfheftwalrus how do you feel about the immoral way your DP earns money? Smile

You can't beat a bit of DuHast

SmilingButClueless · 03/06/2018 20:06

Try this if they like Ed Sheeran

GrandTheftWalrus · 03/06/2018 20:10

I would say I'm disgusted but then I do the same job lol

Last shift I had was Bryan Adams!

OliviaStabler · 04/06/2018 07:19

@Gilead You're welcome to play loud John Denver music any time near my house Grin

MerryInthechelseahotel · 04/06/2018 14:36

I just don't get the hatred for Ed Sheeran on here! Why? I was in Glasgow at the weekend seeing him with ds9 and it was great 😊 maybe not what I would choose to go to on my own but he's a nice bloke and his songs are good! I actually got emotional as everyone was singing along.
