Yabu. Cats catch stuff. What did you expect?

Puddlejumps · 03/06/2018 13:19

A bit of sympathy. I know cats catch stuff and I love my cats so would never make them outdoor ones, it was just a light hearted post. 😀

I found half a dead mouse in my garden the other morning. Missing a head. What a lovely treat that was Confused

I have two indoor cats. I don't think I could ever turf them out. They are useless at catching stuff anyway, other than flies and spiders Grin

The one in the picture above gives it the 'big I am' but is a softie really. We have some big street cats, I don't think she would last two minutes. The black one is out and out house cat, won't even step foot outside the door Smile

Our cats were always outdoor cats.

One practically lived out there and you'd see her sleeping on a pile of leaves in the hedge rather than coming in. She's a true hunter and once she caught and wolfed down three mice in less than ten minutes (we know because when she catches something she has to bring it to you and get praise before she will eat it)

The other probably wouldn't move off the sofa/your chest/your bed if she could get away with it. She came up with ever more ingenious hiding places when they got put out at night including the slightly open towel drawer and the space behind the printer. (they had pillow lined boxes in the shed with a cat flap they could go into but she would rather sit on the doorstep all night)
