Dd2 was very unsettled/hard to feed when I had eaten asparagus or Thai green curry. Might be coincidence but it wasn’t a huge hardship to lay off them for 14 months. These days I have to wrestle the asparagus off her if I want to have any.

Nothing unless you happen to find baby is allergic to something? Pretty unlikely.I Second keeping your fluid intake up? And alcohol is fine. It’s more a risk that you wouldn’t be able to look after a baby than the alcohol levels in breastmilk if you’re completely shit faced.

Avoid spicy meals with a newborn as it can make them gassy and uncomfortable (I learnt this the hard way!)

I since learnt that peppermint can reduce breastmilk in some mothers. I had a low milk supply and drank at least 3 peppermint teas a day! It's not proven though and certainly doesn't affect everyone. If I have another baby I'm going to stay away from the peppermint though.

Absolutely nothing. Caffeine can affect babies sleep, but it's very individual, you'll find out soon enough. Alcohol is fine - if you are safe to care for baby you are safe to breastfeed. Don't drink alcohol if co-sleeping though.

Was told to avoid peppermint tea as it can reduce milk production. My little girl nothing caused any issues, my little boy was really unsettled after I had had something spicy. So it is trial and error.

Nothing on a banned list as such - it is very baby dependent.

I've never heard the mini pill can affect supply. I took it with both of mine and had plenty of milk.
Decongestants I agree can affect supply.
I wouldn't avoid anything apart from medications. Different things might affect different babies, mine were uncomfortable after I'd eaten too many onions.
Fennel tea or flapjack is brilliant for increasing milk supply.

Aubergines. They're disgusting

I avoid too much caffeine. In the early days just eat when you’re hungry and don’t be too hard on yourself. Try to drink plenty of fluids too, I found keeping a bottle by my feeding chair and just telling my husband that I needed a drink whenever I was feeding worked!
Congratulations on your new arrival 😊
