The person that wrote this was? Forgetting what's written, judging on the handwriting alone, how old would you say they were?Smile

Posting here for traffic.

TIA Smile

How old would you say..
OP posts:
Bluesmartiesarebest · 02/06/2018 16:38

2 years old according to the very pushy mums at the local prep school Smile

AbigailisFarty · 02/06/2018 16:38

looks a bit like mine Hmm

I'd say an adult , female, and educated.
Could be anywhere from 35 to late 60s I'd say. Older than that people tend to write in a more traditional joined up style.

wagil · 02/06/2018 16:38

My BIL writes like that and always has done, so any age whatsoever.

AbigailisFarty · 02/06/2018 16:39

I've got a crick in my neck now OP from bending to the right :)

JessicaJonesJacket · 02/06/2018 16:39

34 . . .a woman . . . with dark hair - based on the random capitalisation but very straight writing considering it's on unlined paper. Wink

AbigailisFarty · 02/06/2018 16:40

Are you going to tell us why OP? All this intrigue......Hmm

wagil · 02/06/2018 16:41

Come on OP, I've got to start cooking.

SensoryOverlord · 02/06/2018 16:42

I wouldn't say necessarily educated or with a high standard of written English though tbh.

Random capital letters in the middle of sentences is a grammatical error rather than handwriting related.

HeyDolly · 02/06/2018 16:44

Kaykay06 · 02/06/2018 16:49

If you read something I’d written by hand I’m sure you’d think I was ‘thick as pig shit’ and had no education above age 7 and wasn’t very intelligent or educated. My hand writing isn’t great, I struggle with it and have always mixed capitals and lower case. It’s messy but most can read it fine.

I do have a degree and a pretty good job, so educated past aged 7 and not thick as pig shit - dyslexic yes. I had a reader/scribe for school exams then computer at uni.

Can’t believe some of the judgments on one sentence and wondering the point of the thread SmileGrin

cloudyweewee · 02/06/2018 16:50

Definitely an adult.

QueenOfMyWorld · 02/06/2018 16:52

butlerswharf · 02/06/2018 16:59

Anyone over 18

3luckystars · 02/06/2018 17:01

@cariboa58 are you saying your handwriting got worse from writing so much???? I thought it would be the opposite? It’s amazing what I learn on here. That’s mad!

I write so little now by hand, I should do it more.

Opheliasgoldenwine · 02/06/2018 17:02

I ask because I've been told my handwriting hasn't developed over the age of an average seven year old according to a close friend who is a teacher Sad

Thanks all for your comments; Jessica I do indeed have dark hair Shock. Blue; I hope you wake up happier tomorrow and not so grumpy Smile

Sincere apologies if my comment caused any offence.
Having a really crap time right now, and mental filter obviously let me down.
I'll ask for it to get pulled.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 02/06/2018 17:05

How old are you though OP? Grin

Bluetrews25 · 02/06/2018 17:08

Thank you Ophelia
You just made my eyes leak.
Sorry, everyone.

Opheliasgoldenwine · 02/06/2018 17:09

Blue, don't stress, we've all been there and it's okay Smile

OP Your writing is nothing like a child's (I've read 1000s of kids writing in my former career.)
You have moved on from the overtly rounded style of a young child. Your letter 'm' and 'h' are 'pointy' (there is a proper word for this but it escapes me.) You don't join letters routinely in words as children do 'because t's what they have been told to do!) but have a mix of joined / cursive and unjoined letters. Childlike writing in my opinion is very rounded and uniform where the writer has not developed their personal style at all and is simply writing as they think they ought to.

3luckystars · 02/06/2018 17:12

Are you a Sagittarius, who had an unusual sense of humor?

MistAmougstElephants · 02/06/2018 17:14

OP my hand writing is a messier version of yours so by my standards yours really is lovely and what i try and fail to aim for.

Def looks like adult hand writing.

Opheliasgoldenwine · 02/06/2018 17:15

3luckystars Nope, how come?Smile

OP posts:
Opheliasgoldenwine · 02/06/2018 17:17

@Bluetrews25 I've sent you a PM Smile

I'm just a bit embarrassed as she said if I wrote a letter she wouldn't believe it was written by an adult Sad

DNAwrangler · 02/06/2018 17:21

Doesn't really matter though, does it? Even if your writing were as bad as all that (and I think it's fine), you can type anything important.

Your friend on the other hand...
