To think Lush have missed the mark with their new marketing campaign?

Just that really. It seems a very ill thought out campaign, and one which has generated an awful lot of bad feeling. 17,000 one star reviews overnight. Rather than highlight the issue they are supporting, it comes across as an attack on the police as a whole. I think they’ve made a big mistake.

Thought this thread had died.
The Police, I am married to a Police PNC/ANPR operator, have a volunteer Police cadet son and one who is going through vetting. But I know sadly many old fashion coppers believe they where not covered by the law. Think Life on Mars, why did PACE and taped interviews come in.
Of course the SYP/WYP/GMP/TVP officers who described 11,12 and 13 year old girls as prostitutes, the top officers who lied about Hillsborough, where just bad apples, of course they where never racist (Stephen Lawerence) or sexist pigs, see undercover cops. The sad, and totally worrying thing is this wasn't a few rogue officers, this was known about and authorised by senior officers. Undercover would need CC and politically sanctioning. As a father of a probably future officer, and a very proud father of a runner up in cadet of the year, I want my son to join a Police service which is clean and acts in the law and treats all equally, white, brown or black, female or male, LGBT or straight, left centre or right wing, poor or rich.

Was dropped this afternoon. I’m guessing Lush had profit issues. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-44413586
