Our whole flat is infested with these bastards. What are they?!

Excuse the dust, the rest of our home isn’t dust like that, I’ve just neglected our windowsill recently.

We are massively infested with bugs, first discovered in the kids cereal this morning. I assumed weevils but these fuckers are everywhere.
Wtf?! Help!

I wouldn’t mind so much if they were’ ‘just’ in the food but they are everywhere. On the floor just wondering around, all over the sides, round the sink.
I opened bread an 10 minutes later it was crawling.
I’m too tired for this shit.

There’s birds nesting near our windows and we have the windows open constantly. I’ve no doubt that’s where the swines have come from.

I had carpet beetles for ages and it really started to get me down. Eventually managed to get rid of them by doing a thorough clean of the whole flat and then spraying Raid (for crawling insects) all around the edges of each room. Good luck!

It looks like a carpet beetle to me, we had loads a month or so ago ... I had to hoover and dust twice a day and I then sprayed lemon in water around it's worked so far

If you're seeing that many, I suggest you get a torch and go nest hunting in dark nooks and crannies then get the Hoover out. The adults appear at this time of year because they're freshly emerged from grub form. If you have that many it is likely they've hatched from inside your home and have been there in their developmental stages since this time last year.

Read some articles, there are plenty of good ones out there. Know your enemy.
