To think I've seen a ghost

Ok so this is a weird one, but there's been 2 incidents this year, the first I was skeptical about, the second not so sure.

I've had my share of pregnancy losses, I was told by some woman that I had 2 beautiful sons. I actually have 1 of each but DD wasn't there. She said identical in every way. I was asleep months back, I woke up to see what I thought was my son by my feet. I asked why he wasn't at his activity, there was just this giggle and the boy walked out the door. Then my DS came back with DD and I just thought that was odd.

Then recently to say I've not been having the best of times is an understatement. A few times I've woke up and it's been like a relative who's deceased, shimmering at the bottom of my feet. I've closed and opened my eyes several times and they were still there. When I got to sit up they went.

Has anyone else had anything similar or seen / heard a ghost. Before DS was conceived 2 months before we lost a baby at 9 weeks. So it would tally with what the woman said, plus what I saw followed by the audible playful giggle then disappearing.

I've dreamt about loved ones who have passed, so I know the difference between the two. What I've seen recently of the person who passed has been like a shimmery / sparkly outline of them smiling. Almost making me feel protected. The fact I opened and closed my eyes and it didn't disappear till I sat up.

I've seen like shadows before, a bit like the archetypical ghost, verified by others who saw the same. But this was different, I can't get the giggle out of my head. It was a higher pitch than both DC.

I would love to hear others stories, as I can't be alone in this.

I was aware of OH going to the loo then pulling a blanket around me and patting my shoulder.

Did you wake with a blanket over you in the morning?
